Vice Chancellor for International Affairs
The Vice Chancellor for International Affairs of Amirkabir University of Technology (AUT) leads and coordinates the university’s global engagement. Our mission is to build meaningful academic partnerships, attract talented students and scholars from around the world, and support AUT in participating in international education and research.
As a leading technical academic institution in a dynamic region, we are committed to providing high‑quality, affordable education and a safe, welcoming environment for international students and staff. Through our network of partner institutions, joint programs, and mobility schemes, we aim to direct our academia towards trans-disciplinary research to connect our campus with the global academic community and become a multicultural, cosmopolitan university that will promote entrepreneurship and develop open connections with global counterparts.

We have three main offices:
- Office of Scientific and International Cooperation which is responsible for agreements, joint projects, student and staff mobility and institutional partnerships
- Office of International Students Affairs which supports admission of applicants from abroad, enrollment of international students, and offers them academic support during their stay at AUT
- International Language Center which provides language courses and cultural orientation for both incoming and outgoing students
